The quality of the fall surface can change over the course of time. For example due to sand and dirt, more intensive use, weather influences or material ageing. Regularly carrying out an HIC measurement is therefore important for maintaining quality. With the wireless HIC meter you can carry this out quickly and easily. This way you can implement a fully fledged measurement programme in just a few minutes and the corresponding software package will then generate a complete report. This gives you instantaneous information about the safety of the fall surface and means you will know for sure that children can carry on playing without the need to worry.

The wireless HIC–Meter consists of a metal sphere (a dummy head), that is fitted with various certified acceleration sensors. The HIC–value can be calculated by measuring acceleration during a fall and measuring the impact at the moment that the sphere hits the ground. By the dropping a sphere on the floor from various heights, you can measure to which fall height the fall surface has a sufficient impact absorbing value.

Our wireless HIC meter is simple and easy to use. A tripod or altimeter is not necessary. Our wireless HIC meter calculates the height by itself.

We supply our wireless HIC meter together with a smartphone. The HIC meter is operated by the smartphone and the measuring data is sent from the HIC meter to the smartphone via bluetooth.

Because connecting computer equipment and setting up a tripod is not necessary, a reliable HIC measurement is conducted quickly.

Because no cables or wires are in the way, the HIC sphere cannot not fall on them.

The data can be sent from the smartphone to your computer at a later date through USB or WIFI. Our user friendly BlueImpact software package helps you to organise the measuring data and can automatically generate reports for you.
